B-1 Visa

The B-1 visa is a type of temporary immigrant travel visa issued to business people who come to the United States to conduct business in connection with their employment abroad.

Admission Conditions:

  • The applicant’s business in the United States must be legal.
  • The applicant must be in the United States temporarily.
  • The applicant must be able to afford travel and stay in the United States.
  • The applicant must have a residence abroad to which he will return before the visa expires.

Family Members:

Family members cannot enter the United States by applying for a B-1 visa. Each family member may accompany the B-1 visa holder by applying for a travel visa B-2.
