The F1 visa is the most common temporary immigrant student visa, issued to thousands of students and researchers each year. Designed for academic studies, the F1 visa should earn you a degree, diploma or certificate at the end of your study program.
Conditions of Acceptance
- Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) must be admitted to one of the schools.
- Student must be enrolled full-time in the school to which they are admitted.
- Student must be proficient in English to study in the USA or be enrolled in high-level English-taught courses.
- Student; Must be able to afford travel, accommodation and education to the USA.
- Student must return to their home country when their studies are completed.
- Student must be living outside the USA at the time of application.
Family Members:
Spouses and unmarried children under the age of 21 may accompany the applicant in F-2 status.
